Kenneth L. Remington, age 84 of Naperville, IL formerly of Barrington, IL at rest Monday, November 19, 2012 in Naperville, IL. Born July 4, 1928 in Bismarck, ND, the son of the late Paul and Kathryn Remington. Beloved husband of the late Annette (nee Bolin) and the late Joanne (nee Crabtree). Loving father of Scott Remington, Kevin (Carol) Remington, Ruth (Todd) Meyer, Christopher (Kelli) Simons, Douglas (Julie) Simons and Craig Simons. Cherished grandfather of Raquel, Austin and Kristina Remington, Daniel, Jonathon and Benjamin Meyer, Ashlee, Abigail, Liam, Lindsay, London and Aiden Simons, Ryan and Haley Scott.

Ken served with the United States Navy in Aviation Electronics and then attended Northwestern University. Ken worked for many years in the lumber industry during which time he owned and operated Northwoods Home Center in Barrington, IL and later worked for Siegles as a millwork estimator until his retirement.

Funeral Information

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday December 1st, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. (9:00 gathering) at Our Saviourís Lutheran Church, 815 S. Washington Street, Naperville, IL 60540. A private family interment will be held at a later date.

Donations Information

In lieu of flowers, memorials to honor Ken can be directed to Midwest Palliative & Hospice Care Center at 2050 Claire Court, Glenview, IL 60025.
