Benita Dianne Olson, age 76, a resident of Warrenville, IL since 1999, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Wynscape Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Wheaton, IL. She was born on January 5, 1936 in Joliet, IL.
Benita is survived by her beloved husband, Murray F. Olsen of Warrenville; her loving sons, Fr. Eirik (Jeanne) Olsen of Kenosha, WI and Leif (Debbie) Olsen of Chicago; her seven wonderful grandchildren, Evan, Kirsten, Aiden, Noah, Mia, Seth and Liv Olsen; her cherished mother, Benita Elias of Palm Coast, FL; and three dear brothers, Chester (Ann) Elias, Jr. of Clearwater, FL, Rev. William (Claudia) Elias of Bunnell, FL and Rod (Sharon) Elias of Godfrey, IL. She was preceded in death by her father, Chester Elias, Sr.
Benita was a member of the Church of the Resurrection, Wheaton, IL and the Light of Christ Church in Kenosha, WI where her son is Rector. She was also a member of the Sigma Alpha Iota Music Sorority and Actors’ Equity.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 3, 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Naperville. Family and friends will meet for funeral services on Saturday, August 4, 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Wheaton, 1310 N. Main St, Wheaton, IL 60187, with an additional visitation from 9:00 until 10:00 AM at the church. Interment will follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery, Sugar Grove, IL.
