Shirley E. Mann, age 85, died Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Tabor Hills HealthCare Facility in Naperville. She was born July 29, 1927 in Basehor, KS. Beloved wife of Bill Mann, loving mother of Bob (Kim) Mann, Debbie (Steve) Vidic and Carol (Loren) Brandt, adored grandmother of Julie and Chris Vidic, Beth Ziemba, Matt, Katie and Kyle Brandt, Scott and Steven Mann, dear sister of Bernice (Terry) Terry and Marge (Frosty) DeFrees. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete & Louise Hein. Shirley was born and raised on the family farm in Basehor, KS and a resident of Naperville, IL since 1970. She was a founding member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church. Retired from AT&T in 1989. Formerly worked for Naperville School District 203 and the Kansas City Board of Trade. Funeral InformationVisitation will be Thursday, January 31 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, February 1 at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 1500 Brookdale Rd, Naperville, IL. Interment will be private.
