Roy E. “Bud” Hansen, age 82, a resident of Carol Stream, IL, formerly of Villa Park, IL, died Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at his home. He was born May 16, 1930 in Chicago. Beloved husband of Patricia (nee Rowbottom) Hansen, whom he married November 24, 1951, loving father of Ginger (Tom) Callahan of Carol Stream, IL, Robert “RJ” Hansen of Aurora, IL and the late Wayne (Kathleen) Hansen, adored grandfather of Scott (Bridget) Rubicz, Ken Rubicz, Jake Hansen, Katy Allen, and Kelly McGloon, cherished great-grandfather of seven, devoted son of the late Roy and Loretta Hansen, brother-in-law of Marge Norwicki of Brookfield, IL, dear uncle of many. Roy was employed for many years as a crane operator and was a member of Union Local #150 Midwest Operating Engineers.
