Bernadette C. Madro, was born January 16, 1945 in Chicago and passed away June 14, 2012 in Downers Grove. She is survived by her beloved husband, Ronald J. Madro; her loving daughters, Tina (Bill) Knapp of Plainfield, Teresa (Jim) Hormel of Schaumburg and Anita (Richard Hoglund) Madro of Plainfield; her special grand-daughters, Sara and Megan Hormel; her dear siblings, Edwin (Ernestine) Sury and Rita (Carl) Abram; her god-daughters, Michaelene Sury and Pamela Cleary; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Joseph Michael Madro. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 18, from 3:00 until 9:00 PM at the Overman-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Plainfield. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 19, 10:30 AM at St Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, 15629 S. Rt 59, Plainfield. Interment will be private.
