Richard A. Herrington, age 77 of Paradise, CA, formerly of Aurora and Naperville, IL. Passed away Thursday, February 2, 2012 at Pine View Care Center, Paradise, CA. Born January 1, 1935 in Rose Hill, IA. Survivors include three children: Lisa, Todd, and Kim Herrington. Two grandchildren: Amber and Austin Herrington. Dick was a 1955 graduate of West Aurora High School. He was a Naperville Police officer in the 1960’s and later went onto become a teacher and Assistant Principal at Simmons Junior High School and East Aurora High School. Visitation: 5:00-9:00 PM Friday, February 17, 2012 at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville, IL 60540. Interment is private.  |
