Richard J. Prazak, age 86 of North Riverside, IL at rest July 18, 2012 at Loyola Medical Center, Maywood, IL. Born December 1, 1925 in Chicago, IL the son of the late Michael and Anna Prazak.

Beloved husband of Evelyn, loving father of Scott Prazak and Dawn (Thomas) Clewett, cherished grandfather of Sarah and Rebecca Clewett, dear brother of Edward Prazak and the late Ruth Speck. Richard served with the US Marines 5th Division and fought at the battle of Iwo Jima during World War, II. He worked at Commonwealth Edison for over 30 years, retiring in 1986. Richard will be remembered for being an avid Beer Can collector. In lieu of flowers, memorials to either Tabor Hills Healthcare Facility, 1347 Crystal Avenue, Naperville, IL 60563 or Wounded Warriors, 1719 N. 60th Street, Omaha, NE 68104.

Visitation Monday, July 23, 2012 from 9:00 11:00 AM at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services 44 S. Mill Street, Naperville, IL 60540 with a service to follow at 11:00 AM. Interment at Bohemian National Cemetery, Chicago, IL.
