Mary Ann "Ave" Schultz

Mary Ann "Ave" Schultz (nee Avey), age 66, a resident of Plainfield, IL since 2001, formerly of Naperville, IL 1986-2001, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2017.  She was born February 10, 1951 in Chicago, IL.

Beloved wife of Glenn Schultz, whom she married June 16, 1973, loving mother of Kerry Zito, Bryan (Lauren) Schultz, Michelle (Jason) Schroeder and Brad (Kristin) Schultz, adored grandmother of Avey Zito; Addison, Bryan William, McKayla, Keira and Nora Schultz; Tessa and Whitney Schroeder; Marlee, Jack and Liam Schultz, devoted daughter of the late Howard and Catherine (nee Murray) Avey, dear sister of John (Dawn) Avey, Cathy Lavato, Michael Avey, the late Howard (Linda) Avey and the late Thomas Avey, daughter-in-law of Helen and the late Edwin Schultz, sister-in-law of Mary Schultz, Dennis Schultz, Gail Schultz, Gregory (Sandy) Schultz and Lee (Mike) Holsclaw, fond cousin, aunt, great-aunt and friend to many.

Mary Ann grew up in Westchester, IL and was a 1969 graduate of Immaculate Heart of Mary High School.  A loving and devoted homemaker, Mary Ann also helped Glenn found and build the family's business, Total Fire & Safety in Woodridge, IL.  Mary Ann was a  member of St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Plainfield and enjoyed golfing, crafting, party planning and spending time with her grandchildren.

Funeral Information

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 5, 2017, 3:00-8:00 PM at Friedrich-Jones Funeral & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville, IL.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, July 6, 10:30 AM at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 1215 Modaff Road, Naperville, IL.

Interment: SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Naperville, IL.
