“Our visit was prompted by the sudden and stunning loss of our daughter, E. We had no idea what to do or what to expect, but Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home was beyond helpful and understanding. You were so patient with us and let our son run all around the facility. We are grateful for how your group handled everything — so many things we had never thought about. Truly, we were blindsided and we thank you for helping us through these tough days.”

This year we will be honoring Mayor A. George Pradel as he presides over his last Prayer Breakfast before his retirement. He will also be our keynote speaker.

“This is an event the entire community looks forward to each year. People feel uplifted after listening to the message of the guest speaker and musical numbers performed by local high school soloists,” Mayor Pradel said.

Event sponsor Friedrich-Jones Funeral Homes & Cremation Services located in Naperville and Plainfield has been a committed community partner. "I’ve been a YMCA supporter for over 30 years,” said Ray Jones, whose family has operated Friedrich-Jones Funeral Homes & Cremation Services since 1977. “Our family business was the first YMCA sponsor, and we’ve continued to be advocates of the YMCA programs ever since. The YMCA is unique in that it spans the generations and caters to all family members. We're fortunate to have such a diverse organization to provide resources to our community.”

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at your local Naperville YMCA or by calling Jane Bowers at 630-420-0960.
