Michael J. Boyd, Licensed Funeral Director

Michael Boyd

Mike has served as a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 2001, and he has been a valued member of our staff since 2000. He is a graduate of Worsham College of Mortuary Science class of 2000 and of Lockport Township High School class of 1998.

Mike is a 3rd-generation resident of Plainfield. He is an active parishioner of St. Mary Immaculate Church in Plainfield, serving as an usher and as a Knight of Columbus in the Good Shepherd Council #5573. He is a member of the St. Mary Immaculate School family where his sons, Michael and Dugan, attend. Mike shares his time and talent with many organizations, including the Plainfield Historical Society, serves as current President of Will County Funeral Director Association, and serves as Vice President of the Plainfield Township Cemetery Board. He is an active member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Lodge #2491, in Plainfield and the Plainfield Lion's Club.

Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife, Kelly, and his two sons, Michael and Dugan.


Clayton R. Glomb, Licensed Funeral Director

Clayton Glomb

Clayton has served as a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 2002, and he has been a valued member of our staff since 2001. He is a graduate of Worsham College of Mortuary Science class of 2000, Lyons Township High School in LaGrange class of 1997, and St. John of the Cross Catholic School in Western Springs class of 1993.

Clayton is a longtime resident of Burr Ridge, Illinois, since 1985. He is a member of the National Funeral Directors Association and the Omega Funeral Directors Group of Greater Chicago.

Clayton is an avid outdoorsman, spending time boating on Lake Michigan and relaxing at his lake home in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. He enjoys sport fishing, boating, deer hunting, and, most of all, snowmobiling across the UP.


Kelly A. Boyd, Licensed Funeral Director

Kelly Boyd

Kelly has served as a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 1998, and she has been a valued member of our staff since 2002. She is a graduate of Southern Illinois University class of 1997 with a bachelor of science in mortuary science.

Kelly is a resident of Plainfield and a parishioner of St. Mary Immaculate Church in Plainfield. She began her journey as a member of the St. Mary Immaculate School family where her sons, Michael and Dugan, attend. Kelly shares her time and talent with many organizations. She is a Den Leader for the Cub Scout Pack 19 Good Shepherd Council in Plainfield. She is a member of the Plainfield Historical Society and has served as a cast member in the Plainfield Historical Society Cemetery Walk for many years. She has participated in the AVON Walk and the Susan G. Komen Walk to support the fight against breast cancer on behalf of her mother and grandmother.

Kelly enjoys spending time with her husband, Mike, and her two sons, Michael and Dugan, as well as creating custom jewelry and ornaments.


John W. Tautkus, Licensed Funeral Director

John W. Tautkus

John has served as a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 2013, and became a valued member of our staff since 2017. He holds a diploma from Worsham College of Mortuary Science, class of 2013. At Worsham John earned the Magna Cum Laude Award and the Karlton A. Koball award among others. John is a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Biochemistry degree, class of 2001 and a graduate of Downers Grove South High School, class of 1997.

John began his career as a Patient Care Technician at Edward Hospital and Health Services, where he spent 15 years in the Intensive Care Unit. He spent his last 7 years as a group leader training all of the new staff members before making the change to mortuary science. He is a member of Sigma Phi Sigma, the national funeral service fraternity, and the Illinois Funeral Directors Association.

John resides in North Aurora with his wife Joanna and attends church at Marmion Abbey in North Aurora. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife biking, fishing, camping with their two dogs, Butters and Token, and watching his beloved Chicago White Sox.


Tom Wysocki, Licensed Funeral Director

Tom Wysocki

Tom has served as a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 2016, and has been a member of our staff since 2017. He holds a diploma from Worsham College of Mortuary Science, class of 2015. Tom is a graduate of Eastern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Arts in History, class of 2007 and a graduate of St. Francis High School in Wheaton, class of 2002.

Tom grew up in Winfield and has lived in the western suburbs for most of his life. He attends St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Winfield. Tom is a nature enthusiast and volunteers his time at the Friends of Des Plaines State Fish & Wildlife Area and the Illinois Prairie Path. Tom also enjoys lending a helping hand to his brother and father in law working their farms and beekeeping. He is an avid history buff and enjoys his membership in the NWTA participating in Revolutionary War Re-enactments. He is a member of the Toller Rescue Inc., ACLU, St. Charles Sportsman’s Club and Aurora Sportsman's Club.

Tom has many joys in his life including spending time with his wife Yordana and their dog Miles. He works with Miles on competitive obedience trials competing in AKC Obedience and AKC Rally competitions. Tom also enjoys reading, knitting, woodworking, cooking and fishing.


Jeff Rainford, Licensed Funeral Intern

Jeffrey Rainford

Jeff has served as a licensed funeral director and embalmer Intern since 2017, and he has been a valued member of our staff since 2016. He is a graduate of Worsham College of Mortuary Science class of September 2016, Minooka Community High School class of 2012.

Jeff spent most of his life in Minooka, IL before moving to Plainfield, IL in 2016. Jeff is a Member of the Illinois Funeral Director Association, Pi Sigma Eta the National Mortician Fraternity.

Jeff enjoys spending time with his fiancé Katelynn and their cat Zozo. In his spare time he likes to go for runs, work on his art, fish the local lakes and rivers, and listens to all genres of music.


Jeffrey E. Wey, Licensed Funeral Director, Retired

Jeffrey Wey

Jeff has served as a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 1981, and he has been a dedicated member of our staff since 1985 until his retirement at the end of 2016. He will continue to help us out periodically. He is a graduate of Southern Illinois University class of 1982 with a bachelors of science in technical careers, as well as an associates of art degree class of 1980.

Jeff has been a longtime Plainfield resident since 1985. As an active member of the Plainfield community, he has served in many volunteer capacities. He is a board member of the Friends of the Plainfield Park District Foundation, treasurer and past president of the Kiwanis Club of Plainfield. He was a former member of the Plainfield American Cancer Society and active with “The Relay for Life.” He has served on two advisory boards, the Plainfield Post Office dedication and grand opening and the Lakewood Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center.

In his free time, Jeff enjoys bowling and bicycling, and he is the proud owner of a rescued Shih-Tzu puppy named Rudy.
