Jeffrey E. Wey, Licensed Funeral Director
Jeff has served as a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 1981, and he has been a dedicated member of our staff since 1985. He is a graduate of Southern Illinois University class of 1982 with a bachelors of science in technical careers, as well as an associates of art degree class of 1980.
Jeff has been a longtime Plainfield resident since 1985. As an active member of the Plainfield community, he has served in many volunteer capacities. He is a member, treasurer and past president of the Kiwanis Club of Plainfield. He was a former member of the Plainfield American Cancer Society and active with “The Relay for Life.” He has served on two advisory boards, the Plainfield Post Office dedication and grand opening and the Lakewood Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center.
In his free time, Jeff enjoys bowling and bicycling, and he is the proud owner of a rescued Shih-Tzu puppy named Rudy.
Michael J. Boyd, Licensed Funeral Director
Mike has served as a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 2001, and he has been a valued member of our staff since 2000. He is a graduate of Worsham College of Mortuary Science class of 2000 and of Lockport Township High School class of 1998.
Mike is a 3rd-generation resident of Plainfield. He is an active parishioner of St. Mary Immaculate Church in Plainfield, serving as an usher and as a Knight of Columbus in the Good Shepherd Council #5573. He began his journey as a member of the St. Mary Immaculate School family in the fall of 2011 when his first son, Michael, started preschool. Mike shares his time and talent with many organizations, including the Plainfield Historical Society, Will County Funeral Director Association, and the Plainfield Township Cemetery Board. He is a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Lodge #2491, in Plainfield and the Croatian Cultural Club of Joliet.
Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife, Kelly, and his two sons, Michael and Dugan.
Clayton R. Glomb, Licensed Funeral Director
Clayton has served as a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 2002, and he has been a valued member of our staff since 2001. He is a graduate of Worsham College of Mortuary Science class of 2000, Lyons Township High School in LaGrange class of 1997, and St. John of the Cross Catholic School in Western Springs class of 1993.
Clayton is a longtime resident of Burr Ridge, Illinois, since 1985. He is a member of the National Funeral Directors Association and the Omega Funeral Directors Group of Greater Chicago.
Clayton is an avid outdoorsman, spending time boating on Lake Michigan and relaxing at his lake home in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. He enjoys sport fishing, boating, deer hunting, and, most of all, snowmobiling across the UP.
Kelly A. Boyd, Licensed Funeral Director
Kelly has served as a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 1998, and she has been a valued member of our staff since 2002. She is a graduate of Southern Illinois University class of 1997 with a bachelor of science in mortuary science.
Kelly is a resident of Plainfield and a parishioner of St. Mary Immaculate Church in Plainfield. She began her journey as a member of the St. Mary Immaculate School family in the fall of 2011 when her first son, Michael, started preschool. Kelly shares her time and talent with many organizations, including the NCO WINGS as a mentor and the Plainfield Historical Society. She has served as a cast member in the Plainfield Historical Society Cemetery Walk for many years and has participated in the AVON Walk to support the fight against breast cancer on behalf of her mother and grandmother.
Kelly enjoys spending time with her husband, Mike, and her two sons, Michael and Dugan, as well as creating custom jewelry and ornaments.
Scott K. Welke, Licensed Funeral Director
Scott has served as a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 2008, and he has been a valued member of our staff since 2007. He is a graduate of Worsham College of Mortuary Science class of 2006 and Arizona State University in Tempe with a bachelor of science in agricultural business class of 1985. Scott was a competitive diver at Arizona State and in high school.
Scott is a longtime resident of Woodridge, Illinois, since 2000. He is a member of the Illinois Funeral Directors Association. Scott is known for his love of animals, going back into his first career, which was in veterinary science. He has two dogs, two cats, four turtles, and a pond of fish.
When he is not tending to his animals, Scott enjoys woodworking, home renovation, and landscaping.
Clarissa M. Greene, Licensed Funeral Director
Clarissa has served as a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 1998, and has been a member of our staff since 2012. She is a graduate of Carl Sandburg College class of 1997 with a associates in applied science degree in mortuary science.
Clarissa has been a resident of Plainfield since 2008. She is a parishioner at St Mary Immaculate Church in Plainfield, where she volunteers on their funeral luncheon committee. Clarissa is part of the Creekside Elementary School family in Plainfield where her son Will goes to school. She enjoys volunteering her time as a room mother.
In her free time Clarissa enjoys spending time with her husband Will and their three children William, Bethany and Mark Thomas. She enjoys cooking and entertaining for her family and friends as well as family bike rides and fishing.
